Captain in the Homeland Security Section of the Los Angeles County Fire Department, assigned to the Joint Regional Intelligence Center as the Terrorism Liason Officer.  Licensed Paramedic, Hazardous Materials Specialist, Fixed wing Commercial Pilot, Rotary Wing Commercial Pilot, FAA Part 107 Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) pilot.  Holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, Master of Business Administration in Aviation from Embry-Riddle, Master of Arts in International Relations from Naval Postgraduate School, Master of Arts in Finance from UCSD, and Master of Business Administration from UCSD.  Retired from the United States Marine Corps as the Executive Officer of the Urban Warfare Training Center.
