Client Services Manager, MuniServices
Julia Erdkamp is a Manager, of Client Services for MuniServices where she oversees the firm’s revenue recovery services in Southern California for local government agencies and assists agencies in maximizing revenue. She also oversees some of the firm’s innovative programs such as the Municipal Financial Management Program which provides local government senior analysts and management with strategic financial leadership education. Julia serves as an advisor on business and municipal finance education at Coastline Community College in Orange County, CA. She is also a member of Municipal Management Association of Southern California (MMASC), ICMA’s Women Leading Government (WLG), and California Society of Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO).
Prior to joining MuniServices, Erdkamp worked for 14 years in the public sector including her work for the City of Sacramento and the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Reclamation where she served as chief of the bureau’s Enterprise Program Management Office overseeing the Bureau’s financial systems. When she left the Bureau, Julia took a position at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security where she was the quality improvement manager and aviation liaison for all airlines at John Wayne Airport. Immediately before joining MuniServices, she worked for County of Orange’s Waste & Recycling Department managing the budget administration, renewable energy program, and public information office. Julia has received many finance, technology and operational awards from a number of government organizations.
Julia graduated magna cum laude in Political Science from the University of Southern California (USC) and has a Master of Public Administration magna cum laude from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy.
